Cabinets & Enclosures Technical Specification
Each Fibaform glassfibre (GRP) cabinet and enclosure is unique with the layout designed to suit your exact operating requirements. We will help you to arrive at the perfect layout and produce drawings for you to evaluate.
Fibaform Protection Enclosures are manufactured from GRP (glass fibre reinforced polymer) , encapsulating a 12mm or 18mm core. Where higher thermal or acoustic properties are required PU foam is incorporated into the moulding process.
The standard fire resistance of all our glassfibre (GRP) cabinets and enclsoures is to BS476: Part 7, Class 2. Higher performance fire ratings can also be specified.
A full range of doors can be specified from single personnel doors to full height double opening doors. Doors are reinforced with steel, encapsulated within the glassfibre laminate and can be fitted into any appropriate sized walls. Removable transom and sills can be fitted if required, along with a full range of locking mechanisms. Door seals are fitted as standard.
Cabinets and enclosures can be supplied either with an open base with internal reinforced flange for fixing down or, alternatively, an integral composite construction floor. Where load bearing floors are required, enclosures can be supplied on treated frames manufactured from steel channel with steel plate decking.
All electrics are in accordance with IEE regulations encompassing domestic to Zone 1 as required.
Enclosures with explosion relief can be supplied on request.
The internal of our cabinets and enclosures can either be resin coated or have a washable textured flecked paint finish.
A full range of ventilation options are available, including weather louvres with GRP cowls incorporating vermin and midge mesh. Forced ventilation/cooling can also be fitted where required.
