GRP Kiosks
Fibaform GRP (glass reinforced plastic) kiosks are used for a multitude of purposes including car park kiosks, ticket booths, security cabins and vending kiosks. We also supply kiosks for use as control cabins on ships where localised control points are required.
Designed with a life expectancy of over 20 years, our range of bespoke custom kiosks are manufactured in GRP which means that maintenance is virtually eliminated.
Cost Effective Kiosks
Fibaform glassfibre (GRP) Guardian Kiosks offer a cost effective and attractive solution. The kiosks are available in a range of sizes and can be ordered in any colour in the BS4800 or RAL range. This allows us to match corporate colours where required.
The design is totally flexible so you can decide what type of window you want in each panel, i.e. fixed, horizontal or vertical slider. Alternatively, walls can be left blank, if for example the kiosk is being placed next to a wall.
We offer a full range of electrics, heating and other extras including anti-vandal shutters or aluminium roller shutters, external GRP canopies and shelves.

Marine Cabins
Fibaform has designed and manufactured control cabins for the marine and offshore sector for many years. Our demountable deck/dockside control cabins can be supplied on steel platforms that can be lifted onto deck or dockside as required. These offer a practical solution where the cabin needs to be moved to give the operator full vision. They can be fitted with either mechanical or magnetic fixing points or a combination of both.
Each cabin can be built to suit your exact requirements in both size and specification. Typical options include:

Kiosk Technical Specification
Windows
Windows are manufactured from 4mm toughened glass in anodised aluminium or powder coated frames. Windows can be specified with either radius or square corners. Frames can also be supplied to match the exterior colour of the kiosk. Double glazing and sun reflective glass can also be specified.
Doors
Standard doors are constructed from reinforced glassfibre and are fitted with stainless steel hinges, mortice lock and check straps. Doors on 2.4m panels are fitted to the left. Doors can be hung on the left or right (but are not interchangeable).
Door options available include:
- Aluminium framed top glazed door
- Heavy duty door closer
- Door moved to right of panel position
- Vending Hatches
Glassfibre vending windows with stay (can be specified for either 1200mm or 2400mm panel).
Ventilation
Ventilation options include 100mm diameter roof mounted manual ventilator and 150mm diameter wall or roof mounted extractor fan.
Fixing
Kiosks are supplied ready to be fitted onto a level concrete base using 10mm expanding bolts. Alternatively, kiosks can be supplied with a steel base with fixing points allowing units to be used where a concrete base is not practical.
Interior Finish
The interior of our kiosks are finished in a flecked washable textured coating. The resin coated internal finish can be specified in any colour from the standard external colour range
Electrics
A standard set of electrics comprises of fluorescent light fittings, switched 13 amp, double socket wired into a 4 way consumer unit with mini circuit breakers and main RCCB. Additional options include a 2kw wall mounted convector heater with IP 65/66 rated fittings.
Floors
Standard floors comprise of 18mm “Garuda Mesh” phenol coated hard wearing anti-slip plywood over a 25mm layer of E.P.S. polystyrene for insulation.
Additional floor options include:

- Canopies & Shelving
Kiosks can be supplied with external canopies (500mm wide) and shelves (230mm wide). These are manufactured from glassfibre and can be specified in the same or a different colour to the kiosk if required.

- GRP canopy for 1750 x 840mm windows

Interior Upgrades

Security
Kiosks can be supplied with glassfibre shutters to give protection to windows. These are supplied in the same colour as the kiosk and can be either hinged or fitted in aluminium tracking. Alternatively, steel mesh anti-vandal guards or roller shutters can also be specified.
Security options include:

External Colour & Finish
Any colour (gloss) is available in our large range of GRP cabinets, from the BS4800 range and a range of textured finishes are available, (details on application). British racing green and light grey are the most popular!
We can also clad your GRP unit for a wooden finish, or apply bespoke logos/graphics.

Kiosk Installation
We recommend that our kiosks are fixed down to a concrete base or similar and sealed around the external perimeter using mastic or similar. This is a relatively simple process utilising our internal fixing points and easy to follow instructions. Alternatively we can arrange for one of our experienced installers to do this for you.
Where no suitable base is available, or where the kiosk needs to be moved from place to place, we can supply the kiosks on a steel base. The kiosk can then be moved around with a fork lift truck or telehandler.
Kiosks can be delivered to any part of the UK or Ireland.
